    Announces 76 New Buses for Girls’ Colleges

    Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz inaugurated the transport Program for women. Under which good buses will be Announces 76 New Buses for Girls’ Colleges of the province. Buses have been given to 19 women’s colleges in the first phase. Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has handed over the keys of the buses to the principals of 19 colleges. Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz assured to provide air-conditioned vehicles for girls colleges.

    Secretary Dr. Farrukh Naveed while speaking said that buses will be provided to 76 colleges in three phases. In the first phase, buses were given to the women’s colleges of 19 tehsils that did not have transport facilities earlier. In the second phase, 35 tehsils will be provided with buses. Buses and coaches will be provided. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz while meeting the students of women’s colleges said that the Punjab government will definitely help them.

    Buses Provided to Girls College

    Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz started the transport program for women. Under this 76 buses will be provided for the girls’ colleges of the province. In the first phase, buses were given to 19 women’s colleges. The Chief Minister handed over the keys of the buses to the principals of 19 colleges. In the first phase, buses were given to the women’s colleges of 19 tehsils that did not have transport facilities. So these buses bring all the students from home to college during school timings and bring them home after vacation.

    How Many Colleges Were Provided With Buses?

    Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz while launching the buses said that we are providing buses to those colleges which were not provided buses earlier. So that all the female students go to their homes by bus and come to their colleges in the morning on these buses and continue their studies. The purpose of providing buses is so that the female students do not face any difficulty in coming to the college and home.

    Punjab Higher Education Secretary Dr. Farrukh Naveed while giving a briefing said that buses will be provided to 76 colleges in three phases. So that all the female students can come to college and go home in the morning on these buses so that they can continue their studies in a good way.

    How Many Tehsils Were Buses Provided in the First Phase?

    In the first phase, buses were given to the women’s colleges of 19 tehsils, which did not have transport facilities, including Bhakkar, Sialkot, Chiniot, Kamalia, Hasilpur, Malkwal, Ferozwala, Shurkot, Jatoi, Fateh Jang, Hasan Abdal. Kot Momin, Jalalpur Pirwala, Kallar Syedan, Pindi Gheb, Manchanabad, and Sharqpur are included.

    Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced to provide buses in these tehsils. So that buses are also provided in these tehsils and all the students of the colleges of these tehsils go home and come to the college in the buses given by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz so that they do not face any kind of problem or difficulty in commuting and they can go to their homes.     Which Tehsils Will Be Provided With Buses in the Second Phase?

    In the second phase, buses will be provided to the girls’ colleges of Nowshera Varkan, Dina, Yazman, Pindi Bhattian, Lalian, Bhawana, Kot Addu, Taxila, Sarai Alamgir and Pelan. Allama Iqbal Town Lahore, Isa Khel, Raiwand, and Sohawa Girls Colleges will also get buses by February 2025.

    Buses and 32 coaches will be provided to 35 more tehsils by April 2025. Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz will start the buses in these tehsils in April 2025. Because these tehsils already have the first buses. Female students go to their homes and the driver takes them from home to college on these buses in the morning and they do their studies well.

    Number of Coaches to be Provided in 2025

    Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has said that buses and 32 coaches will be provided to 35 more tehsils by April 2025. Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has announced that buses will be provided only in the tehsils of Punjab. Buses should given to women students. So that they can go to their homes and come to college through these buses and continue their studies in a good way.
