An agreement was signed between the Benazir Income Support Program, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Karandaaz Pakistan. This initiative is a revolutionary development as a result of important meetings held by Chairperson BISP Senator Rubina Khalid with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Karandaaz representatives during her visit to London along with Secretary Aamir Ali Ahmed. As per the agreement, Karandaaz will provide easy payment of funds to BISP beneficiaries in designated districts of the country through the RAAST payment system and support a nationwide digital and financial literacy training program, the trial phase of which will be formally launched on June 30, 2025.
