    Balochistan Launches Benazir Kisan Card Empowering Small Farmers with New Benefits

    The Balochistan government has taken an important decision to introduce the Benazir Kisan Card in the province, which aims to provide financial assistance to small landowners of the province. According to the provincial government spokesperson Shahid Rind, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has approved the Kisan Card on the summary sent by the Agriculture Department. Under this card, agricultural subsidies will be provided to landowners to reduce their financial problems.

    According to the spokesperson, in the first phase of this project, the Information Technology Department will establish a cloud system for two years, which will provide a digital basis for the Kisan Card. This step will not only ensure transparency but will also enable the immediate provision of subsidies to landowners.

    Shahid Rind further said that the Kisan Card is part of the farmer-friendly vision of President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and on the instructions of Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto, work is being done for the welfare of landowners of Sindh and Balochistan. The Balochistan government will start the first phase of this project with its resources, while in the second phase, support from the federal government will be sought.
