Distribution of the first phase of petrol and E-Motorbikes has been started by the Punjab govt. Distribution of electric and petrol motorbikes among male and female students is an important step of the Punjab government. Since this scheme has started by the Government of Punjab. So only students belonging to Punjab can be eligible in this scheme. who are 18 years of age or above and possess a valid National Identity Card are eligible for this scheme.
Students pursuing regular education from government or private graduate colleges and universities can benefit from this scheme. holding a valid driving license or learner’s permit can also get an electric or petrol motorbike under this scheme.

Down Payment And Monthly Installments
According to the instructions of the Chief Minister of Punjab, electric and petrol motorbikes are being provided to the students in easy monthly installments. So that the students do not have difficulty in transportation for education.
In the first phase of this scheme, the down payment and monthly instalments of motorbikes have been kept to a minimum. The monthly installment of electric motorbikes is 10,000 while the monthly installment of petrol motorbikes has fixed at 5,000. Which will not burden the students’ pockets to pay and they will be able to get a better education easily by getting a bike.
