Free Pink Scooties Scheme
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has taken an important step in empowering women and launched the Free Pink Scooties Scheme for working women and female students. He officially launched the campaign by gifting pink scooties to Tahira Arif, a student of FG Girls Degree College, and a female police officer under this scheme. The Chief Minister announced that these scooters would be provided to female students of universities, colleges, and secondary schools, as well as working women so that they could become independent and self-reliant.
The Chief Minister of Balochistan has strictly directed the recruitment on merit in the health department and ordered action against violators. He said that if the problems of health and education are solved, 80 percent of the problems of the people will automatically disappear. He said that the benefit of the resources of the health sector should reach the common man and strict action will taken against the mafia who are obstructing reforms.
Talking to the media in Quetta, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti strongly condemned the mischief in Islamabad and said that the constitutional right to protest should used wisely. He added that obstructing projects of public interest is unacceptable. The Chief Minister expressed his resolve that the country’s economy would be stabilized by providing facilities to investors and resolving issues through dialogue was the best way.

Launch of the Pink Scooters Scheme
Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti launched the Pink Scooters Scheme by handing over the first scooters to Tahira Arif, a student of FG Girls Degree College, and a female police officer. He revealed that university, college, and secondary school students, as well as working women, will benefit from this scheme.
The Chief Minister emphasized that a proper policy for the scheme will developed soon to ensure its smooth implementation. He highlighted the government’s dedication to making women self-reliant and confident.

Sarfaraz Bugti further noted that the Balochistan government committed to ensuring equal opportunities for women in all fields. Currently, five female Deputy Commissioners are serving in the province, demonstrating their capabilities through excellent administrative work.

Reforms in the Health Department
During a meeting on the health department’s performance, the Chief Minister directed authorities to ensure merit-based appointments. He also ordered strict action against those recruited unfairly.
The review meeting was attended by Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar, Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan, Secretary Health Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, and DG Health Dr. Amin Khan Mandokhel. The Chief Minister stressed the importance of visible reforms in health and education, stating that resolving these two issues would address 80% of public problems.
Action Against Health Sector Corruption
Sarfaraz Bugti emphasized the need to combat corruption in the health sector. He urged officials to ensure that public resources allocated for health reach the common man and warned against mafias obstructing reforms.
Addressing the PTI Protests
While addressing the media in Quetta, the Chief Minister condemned the recent PTI protests in Islamabad, calling them inappropriate. He stated that while the constitution allows peaceful protests, the government has the right to manage them.
Bugti criticized the disruption caused under the guise of protests, stressing the importance of dialogue over confrontation to resolve issues. He also called for measures to stabilize the country’s economy by supporting investors.
