    Healthcare At Your Doorstep. Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif approved the establishment of 32 field hospitals and 200 mobile clinics across the province. Out of which 20 field hospitals will be inaugurated in next month. He said that these field hospitals will be equipped with all medical facilities and highly trained staff will be posted in them.

    Mobile clinics are designed to provide healthcare services to people at home. These mobile clinics will also have doctors, ladies’ health workers, vaccinators, and ultrasound facilities.

    Maryam Nawaz said that there will be no delay in the revamping of hospitals and required funds and it will be ensured in every way to provide the best quality health facilities to the people.

    Field Hospital Services

    Maryam Nawaz said that this field hospital will provide all basic medical services. Such as emergency care, surgical services, maternal and child health care, vaccinations, laboratory tests, and pharmacy services.

    Special attention will be paid to the electricity, water, and sanitation supply in these field hospitals. Medical professional staff doctors and nurses will be appointed in these field hospitals who will provide essential medical services in a challenging environment.

    Clinic On Wheels

    The Punjab government has announced to provision of 200 clinics in wheels across the province. Clinic on Wheels is a mobile van that travels to remote areas to provide the best health services.

    Maryam Nawaz said that these mobile clinics will be equipped with all medical facilities, and highly trained staff will be available in them, who will be available at all times for the services of the people. These Clinics on Wheels aim to provide access to the best health services to people living in remote slums. 

    Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has allocated a budget of around 16 thousand rupees for upgrading hospitals and has instructed not to delay the release of the money.

    He said that special attention will be given to the changes in the health sector, and steps will be taken to protect the development projects of the health sector from any challenge. Officials said that the hospitals will be launched from next month and mobile clinics will also be established to deal with health problems in slums and semi-urban areas.

    Training Of Doctors And Nurses

    Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that they will be sent abroad for the higher training of doctors and nurses for field hospitals and clinics in Wales. All possible steps will be taken to improve their skills and training. Special attention will be given to the sanitation system in hospitals and the best system of checks and balances will be implemented.

    Maryam Nawaz said there will be no hospital in Punjab where doctors, staff, medicines, and necessary medical equipment are unavailable.

    Cancer is such an infectious disease, the treatment of which was not possible in Pakistan. Going abroad for treatment was very expensive, so not every Pakistani could afford it. Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced the establishment of Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital to make the treatment of infectious diseases like cancer possible in Pakistan.

    He said that the 250-bed Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital will be completed in June 2026, God willing, and will provide the best cancer treatment to people in Pakistan. Many patients have got facilities due to Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital.

    The Punjab Chief Minister said that we will ensure these facilities so that every cancer patient can get their treatment in Pakistan.
