    HEC Sends 257 Pakistani Students Abroad with Hungarian Scholarships. Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan organized a ceremony on August 23, 2024, to award 257 Pakistani students with scholarships to study at various levels in Hungarian universities under the Stipendum Hungaricum Scholarship Program. The event was held in Islamabad, and attended by several dignitaries from the Higher Education Commission. This program is offered for bachelor’s, master’s, one-tier master’s, and PhD-level studies at Hungarian universities. Under this program, students are allowed to study in various fields. 

    These include agriculture and veterinary sciences, arts and humanities, biological sciences, engineering and technology, health sciences, physical sciences, and social sciences. Through this scholarship, students are allowed to study internationally, improve their future, and improve their skills.

    Govt Of Hungary Has Increased Significantly

    The chief guest of the event, Chairman HEC Dr. Mukhtar, in his address, thanked the Government of Hungary and said that the number of seats provided under the continuous support and partnership of the Government of Hungary has increased significantly. Initially there were 80 seats under this programme, which has now been increased to 400. Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed said that 64% of Pakistan’s population consists of youth, with a lot of potential and talent that should be developed further. He advised the students to gain as much knowledge and experience as possible while studying in Hungary to achieve success quickly.

    Best Future For Students

    This program has been started by the government for the best future of male and female students. The students and other participants participated in this event so that the youth can be prepared for a better future. Deputy Head of Mission, Dr. Durr Gunzburger, in his address, said that in his address, he congratulated the students and gave good news about the program for great success.

    A total of 80,000 applications were received from countries participating in the program, in which the largest number was from Pakistan. The doctor assured the students that studying in Hungary is a great opportunity for personal and professional development. Studying abroad can be a rare experience, so students should take full advantage of this program. This great step is very important for the development of Pakistan.

    Deputy Head of Mission Dr. Dora Gunzburger said in her address that a total of 80,000 requests have been submitted. He said that it is a golden opportunity to study in foreign countries, so students should take full advantage of this opportunity. Getting an education is necessary for every human being, so after starting this program, the government has focused on the bright future of the students. 

    Scholarship Engineer Muhammad Raza Chauhan spoke and said that highlighting the importance of scholarship, this scholarship program was started with the support of HEC and the Government of Hungary. Under this program, the first batch of students was sent in 2016 to study in prestigious universities in Hungary. In return for this participation, the number of scholarship programs continued to increase and many students became successful in their future. The students who have benefited from this program have served in different fields not only in Pakistan but also all over the world.

    It is a good opportunity for students to study at prestigious universities in Hungary through scholarships.
