    Livestock Department Delivers Aid Package to 32,000 Families in Sindh. An important meeting was held in the Livestock and Fisheries Program under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Sindh Advisor for Livestock and Fisheries Syed Najmi Alam in which Program Coordinator Livestock Dr. Nazir Hussain and Coordinator in Fisheries Sector Siraj Ahmad Solangi briefed Provincial Advisor Najmi Alam about the program.

    On this occasion, Secretary Livestock and Fisheries Kazim Hussain also participated and the provincial adviser was told that in Sindh we have planned to give chickens and goats as a package to those families who belong to the poor class. This package is being given in these districts and the poor people are being benefited which are weak areas so milk can be provided to weak children. Apart from this, vaccination will also given to protect these animals from various diseases.

    Let me tell you more that millions of fish seeds are being put in the ponds and canals for free so that the native fish of Sindh can survive by catching them. Apart from this, they have also talked about giving land for the construction of fish ponds in the coastal belt of Sindh. So that the poor people can live their lives better by joining this program.

    Secretary Livestock Dr Hussain told the provincial advisor that so far 32 thousand families have given chicken and goat packages in Sindh. Under this, a family has been given five goats, including four goats and one goat. And a package of nine female chickens and one rooster has been given.

    The aim of this program is that poor people can face their poverty by joining this program and lead a good life. That is why the Sindh government has given chickens and goats to these districts. So that they can complete all their expenses by rearing these chickens and goats.

    These districts include Tharpar, Mirpur Khas, Sijawal, Sukkur Dadu etc. The poor people of these districts are being benefited. So those people who are poor and cannot meet their expenses should get chickens and goats from the Sindh government and raise goats and chickens so that they can meet all their expenses and all other needs.

Apart from this, he said that there has been an offer to give land for the construction of a fish pond in the coastal belt of Sindh. And we are releasing a large number of free fish seeds in ponds, lakes, and streams so that poor people can meet their needs by catching fish.
