    Good News: Under the Punjab Green Tractor Program, tractors were distributed among 68 farmers through a lottery in Jhelum, which showed the government’s commitment to agricultural development. The event was attended by MNAs Farrukh Altaf and Bilal Azhar Kiani, Deputy Commissioner Maisam Abbas, and Director of Agriculture Shahid Bukhari. Bilal Azhar Kiani said on the occasion that the Punjab government is taking practical steps for the development of the agricultural sector, and this program will bring positive changes in the lives of farmers.

    Deputy Commissioner Maisam Abbas, while highlighting the 79 projects launched by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for public welfare, said that the procedure for these projects has been kept very simple so that the people can benefit immediately and directly. He added that the government is strengthening the agricultural economy by providing tractors and Kisan Cards to farmers.

    Director Agriculture Shahid Bukhari said that under the Punjab Green Tractor Program, 9500 tractors have been provided across Punjab so far, and in the last three years, agricultural production in Jhelum has increased from 19 maunds to 22 maunds.
